As we prepare for a Thanksgiving meal this holiday season, we have to remember that not everyone is fortunate enough to do so. Stuff The Bus is an event that helps us change that by collecting non-perishable food items for those in need. AmeriCash Loans has partnered with 99.1 The Mix to “Stuff The Bus” at the location below.
You don’t want to miss 99.1 The Mix broadcasting live at Stuff The Bus! They will be accepting donations from 6a until 6p so that means you can stop by on your way to or from work or school, during your lunch break, or for some last-minute grocery shopping before Thanksgiving.
All of the donations benefit Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin so that means they stay local and will actually make a difference in the community. Here is a list of non-perishable food items that you can donate:
· Frozen turkeys or ham
· Canned soups, stews, and chili
· Canned vegetables and fruits
· Canned meat items
· Canned milk
· Rice and pasta
· Instant potatoes and stuffing mixes
· Peanut butter in plastic jars
· Breakfast cereal
· Mac and cheese
Don’t have food items to donate? No problem, you can actually purchase a premade bag of donations at the Pick N’ Save register and put it right on the bus. Let’s come together and “Stuff The Bus” all the way!
